Our aim is to offer you a Fun, Glamourous Quality and Inspiring Dance Competition Experience.
Admission
Hotel Shows - $10 (for everone except performing students & teachers).
Free Admission to all High School Shows.
Cell Phones must remain off inside the competition area.
Conduct: All must conduct themselves as ladies and gentlemen at all times.. Disorderly conduct is grounds for studio disqualification with entry fees forfeited. No running in hallways. Stay within the designated areas of the hotel/high school.
Food Policy: no food or drink is allowed in theatres, auditoriums , locker rooms or dressing rooms. Venues will offer concession lunch. All food must be consumed in lobby or café. If you choose to bring a cooler, it must remain in the car.
Injury: Participating in the sport of dance competitions can be rigorous and can result in injury. Upon entering the competition, parents & students hold harmless Step Up2 Dance for injury, damage or loss.

Lost/Stolen: Step Up2 Dance is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced articles. Leave valuables cellphones, cameras, and wallets, locked in car or w/ adult in audience, not in the dressing room.
Miscellaneous: Entrants consent to the use of their photograph/ video for ads/promo by the fact of their entrance.
No Recompetes. Each Performer has one time slot on stage. Performers may not recompete. Once a performer begins dancing, they must continue & finish their routine. No matter what-our fault, your fault, no fault, recompeting is NOT ALLOWED.
No refunds policy: In event dancer cannot attend due to illness, teacher may substitute another dancer or another routine in the same category, same age, same ability. No refunds can be made.
No Smoking anywhere near or on School Grounds. This may result in dismissal & disqualification of performer.
Parents must inform all other attending family members & guests of all competition rules.
Program Books are sold at the show with each dancer's name in print.
Shoes must be worn at all times when not performing.
Sportsmanship:Good behavior is expected from all. Children and Dancers must be supervised at all times by parent and dance teacher.
Video and Cameras: Video taping and Photo taking IS NOT ALLOWED during the competition. Professional services are available. We ask you leave valuables at home or in the car.
Failure to abide by any of the above rules is grounds for disqualification with entry fees and prizes forfeited.
By entering a Step Up 2 Dance competition , participants, (dancers, teachers, choreographers) give their permission to Step Up 2 Dance to use their photograph, video and /or likeness in any promotional effort without compensation. Step up 2 dance is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items.
I fully understand that dancers competing in a dance competition take certain incumbent risks. These include, but are not limited to sprains, pulled muscles, broken bones. Injuries can be minimal, serious and catastrophic. By entering the competition, I forever release Step Up2Dance, owners, directors, staff and independent contractors from any and all claims, damages, liability, loss of service and cause of action of any kind including negligence or its future negligence which may occur while participating in any activity connected with this dance competition, including traveling to and from the event.
